witnesses were Clarence L. Land and Anna Peterman

Meta Peterman and Percy Land Tintype. There are two copies of this picture. Several of the tintypes were in paper sleeves. None of the pictures that were still in their sleeves had any thing writen on them. There was a loose backing of a sleeve that was stamped, HARRIS'S It is possible that the sleeve in question went on this photo or its mate which were both without sleeves. | |
Circa 1975 Helen Land sent Justina Land Leler a copy of
this photo. In Helen's letter to Justy at the time, Helen said, Grandma and Grandpa's wedding day. Her glove is off to show her wedding band"Percy and Meta were married on January 18, 1908

| The First Presbyterian Church, Smithtown | This was the church that the Land family attended after their move to Smithrown. 1958 christmas card in the collection of Helen Land. While the Church was established in 1675, the building pictured above (which still stands on the courner of Main Street and North Country Road) was build in 1827. |
