| Elizabeth Sykes had two brothers in Toronto, Canada, Robert
Walker Sykes and Samuel Sykes. She also had two uncles and an aunt in Canada. Elizabeth was in Toronto in September 1914 when she sent a post card to Percy. The return address was 20 Sully Court, Toronto. According to the 1901 Canadian census, Samule Sykes lived a 20 Sully Court and his brother, Robert, lived at 139 Sully Court. Bud Land said that Law also had brothers in Toronto. I have found two Lands, Charles and John, in Toronto. They were living in the same neighborhood as the Sykes. However, I have not been able to definitely tie them to Law Land. This series of photos includes several pictures of Sykes relatives. However, at this point I do not know who they are. One of them is identified as Edward. |
