Cottages

The Byrnes, Langans and Naughtons lived in the townland of Mochara, Shrule Parish, County Mayo, Ireland.

The Byrne Cottage

On June 24, 2004 my husband, Tom, my son, Damian, his wife, Jaime, and myself visited the townland of Mohorra where we met Noel Byrne, a descendent of Michael Byrne and Nappy Naughton. He indicated that the building in the following pictures was the original Byrne cottage.
