This was a German Presbyterian Church. (New York Certificate of Marriage #6378, State of New York for 1888) The Church records lists, Karl Beyerkohler, 23, occupation "segarbox manuf" born, (Need to transcribe town) Bayern, 244 Third Street between Ave. B & C, to Katherine Lindemann, 22, (?) born New York, 244 3 Street, witnesses, Louis Jacob, Jersey City and Henry J Metz.

Info from Catherine Lindemann and Charles Beyerkohler's Descendent, Mark Soltysiak In April 2004, Mark Soltysiak (the great grandson of Catherine Lindemann through her daughter, Minnie) contacted me by email. Over the next few months he has provided the following information.

Beyerkohler, born Germany, mother, ______, born Germany, address, 88 Sherriff Street, tenement, died on September 19, 1891 around 1 P.M., chief cause of death, lobar pneumonia, contributing cause, pleurisies chronic, duration 8 days, buried Lutheran Cemetery. Witnesses: Minnie Goehle and Peter Goehle. The ceremony was performed by John Palmer. 737 W. 6th Street. Minnie Goehle was Catherine's sister, Minnie Lindemann Goehle. Peter was Minnie's husband.
