During my senior year at college I injured my knee playing foot ball and thought my career was over. With nowhere else to turn, I cried out "Jesus, come into my life." This resulted in some significant changes: my knee and career were restored; but most importantly God forgave me of my sins through the death of Jesus on the cross and He gave me eternal life. I realized that Jesus died for me because I was a sinner and could never be good enough to save myself. The bible says. "that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved" (Romans 10:9-10) I believed in my heart that Jesus was the only means of salvation and confessed with my mouth the need for Him to be my Lord and Savior. My goal in life now is to serve and fear God more than Man.

Favorite bible verse: 2 Timothy 1:7

"For god did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power of love and of self-discipline."
